The Wingate University School of Pharmacy 2010 Career Fair
and Interview Day is scheduled for November 19,
2010 from 9:30am to 2pm at the Union County Agricultural Center.
NEW FOR 2010 -- We are making substantial program
changes this year to enhance the event's value from your perspective and to
improve our student's experience. These changes stretch across the P1, P2 and
P3 years and will result in a more engaged student body. You should experience
more discussion time with students and expanded opportunities to meet students
and share your corporate messages. The changes include:
P1 year – a course
requirement to interact with the exhibitors to obtain business information about
the company and/or services provided. We will likely team students up and they
will have a very brief questionnaire to complete with you. This questionnaire
must be turned in to receive course credit.
P2 year – a course
requirement to interact with the exhibitors to obtain business information about
the company, services provided and available internship opportunities (if
applicable). We will likely team students up and they will have a brief
questionnaire to complete with you. This questionnaire must be turned in to
receive course credit.
P3 year – a management
course requirement to interview with a selected exhibitor(s). We will
pre-assign these interviews to spread the students across the participating
exhibitors. Your signature documenting their interview must be turned in to
receive course credit.
All of this activity will complement the interaction with
the P4 students who are present for specific, pre-assigned interviews.
In addition, faculty will also be on-site to keep students
on task and engaged in discussions with exhibitors. We hope this school-wide
effort will increase the value of the Career Fair and make it a more meaningful
experience.
Employers can choose to exhibit and interview during Career Day or just
exhibit. Exhibitors may bring two representatives for the base fee; companies
exhibiting and interviewing may bring four representatives for the base fee.
Additional representatives may come at a charge of $30 per person. Interviewing
companies will receive a Curriculum Vitae (CV) directory and interview schedule
prior to Career Day.
Registration will begin at 8:00 am on the 19th with a continental
breakfast being served. Box lunches will be served beginning at 11:30 am.
Fee information for the Career Fair is shown below. Please note that the
registration form must be submitted by October 22nd to avoid a $75
late fee and must include a company profile.

Interview and Exhibit ($450)
Interview our graduating Doctor of Pharmacy students and meet our P1 through P3
students while representing your company in the Career Day exhibition area. The
fee includes exhibit space, a private interview area, one CV directory, and
continental breakfast and lunch for four (4) representatives.
Exhibit Only ($350)
Represent your company in our exhibition area as you meet our graduating Doctor
of Pharmacy and P1 through P3 students interested in employment and internships.
The fee includes exhibit space and continental breakfast and lunch for two (2)
representatives.
Additional Staff @ $30 per person
